Financial Education Program
Using
the NeighborWorks America’s Financial Fitness curricula, CHDC delivers
financial education classes in both English and Spanish. Each training
session includes 5 workshops totaling 10 hours of instruction delivered over
a 5 week period. The workshops help build important skills on topics often
desired, but rarely taught. The training addresses: budgeting, money
management, consumer rights, banking, investing, credit, predatory lending,
saving, debt management and the Earned Income Tax Credit.
