Homebuyer: This program is designed
to help low and moderate income potential homeowners address
barriers to homeownership. CHDC is a HUD approved housing
counseling agency.
CC-MATCH: Contra Costa - Moving Assets
Toward Community Hands is a matched savings program, also known as
an Individual Development Account (IDA). This program aids low
income individuals looking to access their first high return asset
such as a home, post-secondary education, or establishing a small
business.
Financial Education:
This
program utilizes the NeighborWorks America Financial Fitness
curricula, to help build important skills to manage personal
finances.
Keep North
Richmond Beautiful:
The overall purpose of Keep North Richmond Beautiful is to improve
the quality of life and revitalize the North Richmond community
through community organizing, trash mitigation, and beautification
efforts.
VITA: The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
(VITA) program provides low income individuals and families free tax
return preparation services.
North Richmond YouthBuild: Is an
education and
construction training program offers adult basic education in
preparation for the GED, as well as construction training, career, life and
job-readiness skills, assistance with job placement, apprenticeship programs
or continuing education and community leadership training.
