Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program

From January through April, CHDC assists low income individuals and families claim tax refund dollars for which they qualify through sponsorship of an annual free tax preparation assistance program.  The CHDC VITA Program is part of the countywide effort, Earn It!  Keep It! Save It! and is the largest site in Contra Costa County returning over $300,000 in Earned Income Tax Credits to low income working families in 2005.
