North Richmond Economic Development Corporation (NREDC) is a separate nonprofit organization affiliated with CHDC. NREDC undertakes activities that extend CHDC's community services into additional programs and lines of business.

NREDC's primary activity is to provide property management services for affordable rental housing. It manages Barrett Terrace & Plaza, which has 172 apartments and townhomes, is located in Richmond and is also affiliated with CHDC.
